October's Student of the Month
October’s Student of the Month is senior Gideon Scott. Gideon was selected by the Baumholder Student Government Association due to his consistently positive attitude and for always being kind and considerate.
Recently, Gideon aided the SGA by putting up decorations for Homecoming, although he was not a member of the organization. He also purchased candy grams for his entire class. “I built a lot of self confidence, so I care less what people think about me,” he said. “It lets me be silly. It makes me happy seeing other people be happy.” Gideon’s extracurricular activities include drama, jazz band, soccer, cheerleading, and EdRising.
After high school, Gideon plans on attending the University of Kansas to pursue education. His goal is to teach either music or math when he graduates.
