Piggè recognized with postseason honors

Former Baumholder High School standout Chandler Piggè picked up a college basketball accolade following his junior season.
The Harvard guard was named All-Ivy Honorable Mention after posting 13.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assist and 1.7 steals per game this year.
The Crimson finished with a 12-15 overall record and a 7-7 record in conference play, tying their best finish since 2019-20.
Unfortunately, Harvard will not be playing in the Ivy League tournament, barely missing out on the four-team tournament by just one game.
Piggè graduated from Baumholder in 2021 after an accomplished high school career for the Buccaneers, including three European Championships.
His father, Dewayne Piggè, is the current head coach of the Baumholder boys basketball team and works at the school as a P.E. and Health teacher. His mother, Felicia Piggè, also resides in Baumholder, working in the community.
Congratulations to Chandler on being rewarded for all his hard work, and we are sure his senior season will be something special.
