The Baumholder High School soccer team wrapped up its 2025 season following a 2-1 loss against Sigonella May 21 at the Division III European Championships in Landstuhl.
First year head coach Jenny Rajkovacz said "We had other teams, coaches, and parents compliment their tenacity, sportsmanship, and grit. As a community, we should all be proud. Thank you for being a part of what makes Baumholder Baumholder and for playing a part in the success of our students. We're proof that it really does take a village."

Just a few housekeeping reminders as we transition with construction updates and security reminders.
Wetzel Kaserne Construction Traffic Deviations:
Effective Wednesday, May 21st, at 0600, there will be construction at the Wetzel Main Gate that will impact access to Wetzel Kaserne from 0600 to 2000, daily.
- The Main Gate will be restricted to construction vehicles and buses.
- Passenger vehicles less than 3.5 tons must enter Wetzel Kaserne Gate 4, near the Aquatic Center and Rolling Hills Golf Course.
- All vehicles must exit Wetzel Kaserne via the Lower Wetzel Gate to Rohrbacher Weg which leads to the Esso Gas Station on Berschweilerstrasse.
All passenger vehicles should continue to use the drop-off zone (lower hillside/adjacent to BMHS Gymnasium) to drop off students – no exceptions, please.
There have been instances of passenger vehicles dropping off students at the barrier entry parking area – this is a non-pedestrian zone and presents a potential hazard to your students entering “under” the barrier of the staff parking lot and vision is blocked if there are moving vehicles or if there are attempts to make “U” turns in this area.
Per USAG RP, before school drop off track: all vehicles should proceed down to the lower Wetzel gate, this direction has been for SY 24/25, please assist BMHS Administration with this directive.
At 0800 daily, the pedestrian gate will open for late check-in with their parents.
During and returning from lunch/recess, students should not use the pedestrian gate/door to enter, there are entrances near the annex and main building that are secure and away from the main road where there will potentially be heavy traffic in the months ahead.
I have mostly spoken to our middle school populations but want to gently remind both middle and high school families of these precautions to maintain the safety and security of our campus as much as possible.

Graduation approaching
The Baumholder Middle High School Class of 2025 caps off its time as Buccaneers on June 5.
The senior graduation takes place at 1800 at the Wagon Wheel Theater on post. The ceremony will live streamed on YouTube on the channel @BMHS-ei3rm for those that cannot attend.
Congratulations to all our graduates as they prepare to take on the world.
