Open House Graphic

We enjoyed seeing so many students and families at this year’s Open House on Tuesday. A special shout out to our school clubs and community partners from the Teen Center, USO, Base Library, CYS, Service Credit Union, Club Beyond and BMHS PTSA for your support and presence.

I would also like to recognize those who made the event the success that it was. Ms. Dube, our AVID coordinator, served as the overall event coordinator, and her dedication and leadership were instrumental in ensuring the AVID Open House ran smoothly and successfully.

A heartfelt thank you to Captain Mustafaa, Sgt. Walker, and the JROTC students who stood for two hours serving as hosts and guides to our community—your professionalism and commitment were truly appreciated.

We also want to recognize Ms. Huss and the S2S students who welcomed families and stamped passports throughout the evening. Your warm hospitality helped make the event even more engaging and enjoyable.

Thank you to all of our teachers that put in so much extra time and work to make the event as successful as it was.  Ms. Huxtable, Mr. Vu, Mr. Dement, Mr. Valieant, Ms. Gambee, and Ms. Ditschler,  thank you for ensuring that each student in your respective organization is supported through your fund-raising and recruitment efforts.

Congratulations to our Passport Raffle winners: Leai, Ryleigh, Elizayla, Mia, Scarlette, Erika, Jayda, Marley, Aisha, Angelo, and Lexi.

We are thankful to our local businesses, the Zum Stern, Eiscafé Dolomite, Giza’s Flowers, and The Coffee Studio for their generous donations.

Finally, thank you to all the families and students who were able to attend. Your presence and participation are what make events like this meaningful. You are the reason we do what we do, and we remain committed to serving and supporting you every step of the way.

Traffic gate still affected

Due to an ongoing event near the golf course, all inbound traffic to get to Baumholder Middle High School is diverted to Gate 4, through the Rolling Hills Golf Course.

All vehicles must still exit Wetzel Kaserne via the Lower Wetzel Gate to Rohrbacher Weg which leads to the Esso Gas Station on Berschweilerstrasse.

A circular badge with a white edge and the text "National School Public Relations Association". The inner circle has a blue background with the text "Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award". The bottom of the badge has a ribbon with the year 2025 in the middle of it, and just below this ribbon it has the text "Award of Merit Website".

We’re excited to share that DoDEA has won the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award – Website Award of Merit for our School Newsletters Project! This NSPRA award honors outstanding school communication efforts that help connect schools with their communities. This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our amazing school webmasters. Thank you for keeping families connected with your hard work and heart!
